On September 27, 2024, the AUCA Library hosted a webinar titled "Creating a Researcher Profile in Various Databases," which attracted over 35 participants from major regional universities in Kyrgyzstan.

    On September 19-20, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) was represented by Bermet Talasbek, Strategic Development Officer of the School of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration (SEBA), at the Sustainable Lifestyles Festival 2024.

The Knowledge Day Ceremony was conducted by the AUCA administration, headed by President Timothy O'Connor, on Thursday, September 26. President Timothy O'Connor awarded the best students for their outstanding academic excellence with a President's List and Dean's List, respectively.

AUCA proudly hosted the presentation of "Easy Kyrgyz," the first-ever mobile app designed for learning the Kyrgyz language. This groundbreaking initiative was developed by the AUCA LAS team with the support of the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

On September 24, 2024, AUCA Library in collaboration with the General Education program celebrated the National Language Day of the Kyrgyz Republic. The event gathered AUCA faculty, staff, students, and other guests.

From September 14 to 16, Bishkek hosted the Startup Nation hackathon, organized by Codify and Accelerate Prosperity, with the support of several partners. The event brought together 270 teams, over 600 participants, 20 mentors, 6 speakers, and 12 event partners.

 

 
On September 23, the Department of Anthropology and International Development at AUCA hosted an insightful presentation by Kanat Sultanaliev, Executive Director of the Tien Shan Analytical Center, on “Policy Brief: Practices and Approaches in the Context of Kyrgyzstan.
