How to Declare

All students must declare their choice of specialization from the following options by the second year of study :

• Anthropology and archeology
• Technology
• International Development

Before students make their choice, they are encouraged to take four introductory required courses:

1. Cultural Concepts and Social Networks
2. Introduction to Archeology
3. People and Things: History and Anthropology of Technology
4. International Development: Donors, NGOs, Communities, and Cultures

These courses will introduce them to the foundational knowledge within three fields of specialization and help them to make a more grounded decision.
