Official handing over of “Contemporary international law materials and cases” book took place on 25 June of 2012 in Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyz Republic. Executive Director of Tian-Shan Policy Center (TSPC) of AUCA Mr. Rodger Dillon presented 14 books to Chair on Juridical Issues and Rule of Law Mr. Toktogul Tumanov for use and further distribution among other committees.

On 12 June, 2012 AUCA Tian Shan Policy Center and Fulbright Alumni Association of Kyrgyzstan held an event to launch the new book entitled, “Contemporary International Law". The book, which was edited and published by law professors from three universities in Kyrgyzstan, American University of Central Asia, Kyrgyz National University, and Kyrgyz State Academy of Law, was celebrated as the first such resource book to help modernize Kyrgyz legal education.

Dr. Svetlana Jacquesson will begin work on August 1, 2012.

On 12 June, 2012 AUCA Tian Shan Policy Center and Fulbright Alumni Association of Kyrgyzstan held an event to launch the new book entitled, “Contemporary International Law Materials and Cases.” 

The Tian Shan Policy Center of the American University of Central Asia and the Fulbright Association of Kyrgyzstan holds a launch event for a new international law book published especially for Kyrgyzstan educators, lawyers, and policy-makers, “Contemporary International Law Materials and Cases.”

On 12 June 2012 the Tian Shan Policy Center jointly with Central Asian Studies Institute will host a research seminar on Negotiating Modernity: Places and Objects in the Context of Kyrgyzstan. The event will start at 11 a.m. in Room 232 (CASI/TSPC Resource Center)

A time capsule was laid in the foundation of the new AUCA campus building to signify the beginning of construction.
