February 10, 2016, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs and the U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic met with a group of AUCA students.

On Tuesday, November 10, AUCA conducted it’s annual Initiation ceremony for the AUCA class of 2019. The celebration was organized by the Office of Student Affairs. In addition, the ceremony was accompanied

Begimai Sataeva is an alumna of the Journalism and Mass Communications Program class of 2015. At AUCA, Begimai worked with on several social initiatives, was a correspondent for several different international media agencies, and worked in the AUCA communications office. She is currently living in Warsaw, Poland, working as a journalist.

Vice President for Academic Affairs of AUCA Bermet Tursunkulova received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the nonprofit organization American Councils as one of the first FLEX Program alumni.

On September 8, 2015 a group of enthusiastic students from the American University of Central Asia had the opportunity to have a conversation with the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Nisha Desai Biswal, and the U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic Sheila Gwaltney.

Not every university has its own farewell traditions, starting with the commencement ceremonies. But American University of Central Asia has its own long-standing customs. This year, more than 200 students graduated on June 6, in the Kyrgyz National Philharmonics Theater in Bishkek.
 

Aimeerim grew up in Osh and she went to NGA because of the scholarship and AUCA’s reputation. Aimeerim has been learning English for 3 years and she is planning to work in the international arena in future.
