The AUCA MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) builds upon the innovative MAT model of Bard College, New York, and seamlessly integrates four components. It is the only teacher education program in Central Asia that offers an American Master’s Degree from Bard College in New York, alongside a graduate degree from Kyrgyz Ministry of Education.

Important Announcement for Applicants from Tajikistan for Preparatory Program: in response to the COVID-19, the deadline for  the U.S. Embassy Tajikistan Scholarship has been extended  to June 15, 2020 for Preparatory Program.

Anthropology department Professor Cholpon Turdalieva told us about her experience of teaching online. Prof. Turdalieva highlighted a few aspects regarding how AUCA has responded to challenges generated by the pandemic and how our community entered the world of digital education.

Apply now to the MAT program at the American University of Central Asia (AUCA). Qualified applicants from the regions can earn a full scholarship from the US Embassy that allows you to join the 2020 MAT Cohort. 

On February 13, the U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, Donald Lu met with AUCA students on the ICP Ambassador Talks. The ambassador had an hour and a half talk, answering the questions of our active students. 

The Program “AUCA Afghan Scholarship through the U.S. Embassy Kabul 2019” will allow the students to study a year at the New Generation Academy and 4 years of the Bachelor program, 5 years in total.
