From July 24 to 28, a group of 6 students and 4 faculty from the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) participated in a five-day summer school on "Geospatial Technologies for Building Resilience" at the Central European University (CEU) in Budapest, Hungary.

From July 24 to 28, a group of 6 students and 4 faculty from the American University of Central Asia (AUCA) participated in a five-day summer school on "Geospatial Technologies for Building Resilience" at the Central European University (CEU) in Budapest, Hungary. The workshop, which included attendees from various departments such as Environmental Sustainability and Climate Science, Applied Geology, Economics, and Software Engineering, aimed to explore the practical applications of geospatial technologies in disaster resilience and climate change mitigation.

In a review of the academic governance structure, the AUCA President, Dr. Timothy E. O'Connor, has initiated the creation of the new position of Dean of Academic Planning and Strategic Partnerships, which the AUCA Board of Treestes directly approved. 

My name is Toktosunova Zhamilia, and I am a fourth-year student majoring in the Anthropology Department. I aspire to pursue osteoarchaeology in the future that is why I chose AUCA to get my education. In 2022, I was admitted to the SUSI program.

My name is Marsel Sadykov. I graduated from the Psychology Department at AUCA in 2023. My academic journey at AUCA was a transformative and enriching experience that left an indelible mark on my personal and intellectual growth.

I'm Amanda Kadyrbekova, a dedicated fourth-year student pursuing a major in the Journalism department. Reflecting on my academic journey, one remarkable milestone stands out—the Global UGRAD program, a transformative experience that unfolded during the fall semester of 2022.

The intensive summer program National Security Language Initiative for Youth, sponsored by the US Department of State, was successfully completed. The American University of Central Asia (AUCA) is thankful to be privileged in hosting NSLI-Y Program in Bishkek to support the study of the 18 U.S. high school students from June 24, 2023, through August 10, 2023.
