Central Asian Studies Institute (CASI) and the International and Comparative Politics Department (ICP) will continue a series of guest lectures by US scholars on China in April-May at AUCA. American Councils, IWPR, and the Department of State sponsor the lectures.

Altynai Nuralieva, a graduate of the Business Administration department, class of 2022. Currently, she works as an audit associate at one of the Kyrgyz branches of Big4 companies, the world's four largest professional services networks and the global accounting networks that provide audit, tax, consulting and financial advisory services to major corporations.

On April 4th, the Development Office together with the International and Business Law department in the framework of the AUCA Fellowship Program for Rights and Justice Practitioners started a new series of sessions on the Human Rights course development.

The head and founder of the picVpic startup, Edil Azhibaev, spoke about the contribution of the Kyrgyz team to the development of the most advanced technologies and their recognition in the world.

On March 30, 2023, The President’s Office arranged a meeting of AUCA students with Lesslie Viguerie, the US Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic. Jonathan Becker, AUCA President, was the host of the event.

Indira Sagynova, Senior Coordinator for Afghan Students at the International Students Office, and Dr. Görkem Atsungur, Head of Social Sciences, and Chair of the International and Comparative Politics Department, participated in the Erasmus+ Mobility program at Phillips University in Germany
 

AUCA is honoured to be a founding partner of the Central Asian Universities Air Quality Knowledge Hub. The Knowledge Hub seeks to engage Central Asian university faculty and students in air quality science and engineering knowledge and methods and to contribute to a broader understanding of air quality conditions in Central Asia.

 
On March 14, the DAAD delegation paid an official visit to AUCA. The delegation, which consisted of 8 people, included representatives of various universities and non-university research institutions, associations, institutions and governmental organizations in Germany.

Melis Turgunbaev has been appointed head of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision.

On March 15, the Journalism and Mass Communications department hosted a guest lecture by Prof. Dr Markus Ziener in the “Ask Me Anything” format.
