Professor Thomas Torok has passed away at the age of 73

The Center for the Environment and Development (CED) and the Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) within the framework of the "Green AUCA" project announced a competition among the departments/offices of the university "The greenest Department".

At the end of last week, the AUCA library summed up the results of the contest "My Country – my Flag", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the national flag of Kyrgyzstan.

The aim of the project is to improve the waste management system at the university by introducing separate collection and delivery of waste to recycling organizations in Bishkek.

Online lecture “One hundred years of broadcasting: the BBC past and present” will be online on the 15th of March at 5 pm 

The competition is held among high school graduates, who wish to study at the European Studies Department of the American University of Central Asia.
 

At the beginning of this year, the Department of Applied Geology and Environmental Sustainability and Climatology jointly opened a GIS and remote sensing laboratory

CCE is looking for two active students who would be interested in helping out with various projects and initiatives both within and outside AUCA, particularly, with the upcoming project “Green AUCA.”

Madina Ibraeva is pursuing a master degree in sociology department at AUCA and was accepted at the University of Lille for an exchange period in the Fall Semester 2021 in the framework of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme.
