AUCA students took part in the geological field excursion to the Boom Gorge
On Sunday, November 25 the Department of Applied Geology organized the field excursion to Boom Gorge for students. During the excursion, students were able to observe the geological outcrops of rocks in the field. They've learned how to use geological and topographic maps, GPS and geological compass, and described the structural relationships of various rock types.

AUCA Crisis Game 2018
On November 16-17, the International and Comparative Politics Department held its annual Crisis Games at the American University of Central Asia. Open to all undergraduate students interested in politics, the games simulated a crisis scenario in East Asia and invited the students to represent and act on behalf of the key actors in the region.

AUCA students hiked out to the campsite and got to explore the glaciers
Four AUCA students were given the chance to get up close and personal with some of the glaciers in the Kyrgyz Tien Shan Mountains this summer, and to try their hands at helping to answer some of these questions.

Excursion to the Fish Farm
On Friday, 12 October 2018, the department of EMSD hasorganized a trip for AUCA students to the fish breeding farm in Bishkek. The aim of the visit was to study the importance of fisheries and aquaculture resources for industrial and domestic uses and also for the improvement of the environment.
