The field of anthropology is known for its profound engagement with diverse cultures and societies, seeking to understand and document the intricate tapestry of human existence. The remarkable journey of a dedicated Anthropology Department that embarked on an ethnographic fieldwork adventure in the enchanting city of Istanbul, Türkiye.

The Spotlight Initiative recently hosted an award ceremony at the AUCA to celebrate the graduates of the kNOwVAWdata online course. Launched in 2022, the course is part of the regional program to address violence against women (VAW) and promote gender equality in Central Asia.

Embarking on a captivating journey to the Taldybulak Levoberezhny Gold Mine on Saturday, November 11, 2023, the collaborative efforts of the "Applied Geology" and "Environmental Management and Sustainable Development'' Departments at AUCA brought students together for an enriching field trip.

    Within the framework of the Bishkek International Film Festival, 4 master classes will be held on the topic of production and industrial aspects, namely artificial intelligence and cinema, acting, virtual reality, modern conditions of the distribution market.

  On Wednesday, October 25, the International and Comparative Politics Department, in collaboration with the Office of the President, continued its prestigious Ambassador Talks Series, featuring the esteemed presence of His Majesty, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr.

 

On October 23, 2023, the International and Comparative Politics (ICP) department, in collaboration with the President’s Office at AUCA, launched the “Ambassador Talks” Series, which became the first guest lecture series with distinguished Ambassadors to the Kyrgyz Republic.

On October 24, Anne Seshadri, the Public Diplomacy Office Director of the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA), visited the AUCA campus. During her visit, she met with Dr. Timothy O'Connor, AUCA President, and discussed the value of educating young leaders of the region and the world for AUCA remaining on the Top universities in Central Asia.
