WARC Inaugurates Russian Language Tutoring with Hiring of Malika Mahmudova
Sophomore Malika Mahmudova joined AUCA’s Writing and Academic Resource Center this fall, becoming the center’s first-even Russian language tutor. She joins Kyrgyz tutor Aiym Aidaralieva as part of a move to expand the WARC’s linguistic offerings this year.

Aiym Aidaralieva Becomes WARC's First Kyrgyz Language Tutor
For the first time, AUCA’s Writing and Academic Resource Center will offer free, one-on-one peer tutoring in the Kyrgyz language. Aiym’s help is particularly valuable given that AUCA students starting with the Class of 2023 will be required to pass a state-wide Kyrgyz language exam in their second year in accordance with government policy.
